Three Gap King of the Mountain

The Six Gap Century & Three Gap Fifty is known for being the toughest ride and having the steepest climbs in the southeast. Many of you return year after year to test your abilities and to conquer the gaps.

Generic KOM Header

To recognize your efforts, we are excited to present the Six Gap Century & Three Gap Fifty Bike Ride King of the Mountain Competition.

The KOM designation will be bestowed only on the most skilled cycling athletes who can successfully take on the ultra steep climbs. The Six Gap KOM title and custom kits will be awarded to the male and female riders with the lowest combined climb times on Hogpen Gap and Wolfpen Gap, in three age categories of 34 & Under,  35 - 54, and 55 & Over.

In addition, we are pleased to announce the Three Gap KOM Competition this year! The Three Gap KOM title and custom kits will be awarded to the male and female rider with the lowest climb time on Wolfpen Gap.

The KOM is only applicable to riders completing the Six Gap Century (104 mile) route and Three Gap Fifty (58 mile) route. Your ride finish time has no bearing on the KOM Challenge. For more details, check out the KOM Challenge Rules.
